Above All It Was For You And Me

19 03 2011

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus! Dear friends as we are in the season of Lent let us take a look seriously why God the Father had to send down His only begotten son Jesus to die for our sins. Remember friends He who was without sin became our sin bearer. The sins of the world was upon our Lord. The filth of this world was upon our Lord. Let us see my friends why God had to send His son Jesus to this world. Its all because of His love for each and everyone of us regardless of race and religion.

In the beginning God made man and his name was Adam. God made man because He wanted to have fellowship with man. God and man had a wonderful fellowship until sin came into man and separated the man from God. God was really sad. The battle began. Man lost his place. Now its God, Satan and Man.Satan went out againts the people of God and made them to sin. Sin separates us from God. Whether its a small sin or big sin. Sin is a sin in Gods eyes. The sins of the people was becoming from bad to worse. The only way man could get his position back with God is that someone has to die for the sins of the people. No one was without sin. All have sinned even great men of God. A person who has to die for the sins of the people must be a person without sin And who is that person? Of course it is God Himself. He had to be born into this world but not of human descent.God send His own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. The Savior was born through the conception of the Holy Spirit and not the desire of a husband or wife. The blessed virgin Mary became that vessel to bring forth the Savior our Redeemer to this  world.

Jesus the Christ was born. He who from the beginning was without sin became a sinful man to be an offering for the sins of the world committed by me, you and all the people. He did not die on the cross only for the believers but also for all mankind regardless of race and religion. In the old testament, unblemished lambs were used as a sacrifice to wash the sins of the people. In the new testament Jesus is the unblemished sacrificial lamb. Friends let us not take the crucifixion of our Savior that easy. Do you think that it is an easy task to do? To die for the sins you did not commit! Is there anyone who will die for your sins? No my friends, why should I die for the sins of other people! Even your closest flesh and blood will not do it! Jesus was obedient to His Fathers will till his death on that old rugged cross. All because He loved us so much. In the book of the Prophet Isaiah it is written ” But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” ( Isaiah 53:5 ) The death of Jesus was the most agonizing death. No mankind ever went through that kind of a death my friends. He was tortured, humilated, people spat on His face, He was punched on the face. Whatever they could do to Him they did! Jesus did not at all open his mouth. For our sins to be washed away, there is no other way but only one way and that One way was Jesus!

Today my friends, who ever you may be regardless of your race and religion, the blood that was shed 2000 years ago by Jesus has washed away your sins. Above all, You and Me are the reason He came down to the earth to set us free. Today you are set free! This is my next posting. Do not miss it. Please do take time to watch the video clips. (Here). Have a Blessed Lent Season.

God Bless.
