“Do Not Judge,Or You Too Will Be Judged!”

29 03 2011

Greetings again my dear friends in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ Our Redeemer! Friends let me take you to another interesting topic. It is a clear warning to all of us to be careful in “judging others!””Who are we to judge?” Are we all that “perfect” that we have turn to become a “judge” to “judge” others? Let us find out friends!Dear Friends, how many of us are so good at judging others? Some of them  love to judge everything that people do right from their way of life, the wealth others have , how others look, what others wear,if others are doing well in life or not and if other peoples children are intelligent or not intelligent? Friends there are some of us out there who  are so quick with our mouth that we do not have“mouth insurance”. We  just judge others without thinking the circumstances that  it will bring on that person and also on You! Please friends do not get offended with what I have just written. There is more to it!  It is not me telling you not to judge others but it is the written word of God that says “do not judge others or you will be judged.” Let us take a look at the gospel of St Matthew in chapter 7:1-5 as it is written “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother,” Let me take the speck out of your eye,” when all the time there is plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye!” Yes, my friends! This is what is happening to some of our believers. It is the season of Lent and there are some who can still judge others. The word of God clearly states that before you judge others check yourself first and see if you are “perfect”. If you say that you are perfect then you are wrong my friends! Because the word of God says that only God is perfect! So who are we to judge others? If we are perfect and holy than we are God! Only God can judge because He sees Everything!

Friends let us take this time to see if we have judge others by saying, Hey! my friend you look as if you had gone fat, you do not look good in that attire, your hairstyle does not suits you, your food does not taste good, you are not good at studies, you do not have a good job at hand, you are not doing well at all in life and you are too poor to afford anything! Yes, my friends that is what today’s believers are doing! Do you know that when we pass on this kind of a remark and judge others we are indeed crushing their spirit! Let us friends be careful not to judge others too quickly! Please have some “mouth insurance!” The Judge our God is watching! With the same measure you use it will be measured back to you.

Dear friends, let us take this season of Lent to be careful not to judge our family, friends and our enemies so easily. Before judging others go to the mirror and see if there is a plank in your eye before you remove the speck of sawdust from other people’s eye! For whatever deeds we do good or bad all of us are responsible for our own deeds! So do not Judge my friends and you will not be Judge either! Have a Meaningful Lent my friends.

God Bless.
