“He Remembers Your Sins No More!”

30 03 2011

Greetings in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ Our Redeemer! Dear friends are there any of your friends that keeps reminding you of your sins till Today? If they do then they are not worthy at all to be called friends! There is a Friend that says “He remembers your sins no more! Even the sins of your youth, He remembers not!” Let us check out who this person is?

Dear friends, if you have been my readers you would notice that in my previous postings there were topics on sin! Even Today in my posting, it is about sin! But the good news here is, God is telling us through his word “That he remembers your sins no more even the sins of your youth!” Wow! What a wonderful God we have! But the word of God says “sin separates us from God.” Yes, my friends! What God is telling each and everyone of us is that if we come before him in repentance, He will forgive all our sins and not some! Some of us do come before God and ask God to forgive our sins but we keep reminding ourselves about the sin we have committed! It is not only us reminding ourselves about our sins but even our friends will remind us of our sins. Friends remember it is the work of the evil one that keeps reminding us to remember our sins and keep us apart from God! See how cunning is the devil! Do not fall into the trap of the devil! He is a liar and a deceiver who likes to deceive people and keep them away from God!

Dear friends let us take a look at what the word of God says as it is written in the book of the Prophet Isaiah 43:25 ” I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” So why friends are we reminding ourselves about our sins that God remembers no more! Let me take you my friends to another verse in Isaiah 1:18 as it is written ” Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” See my friends, what God is comparing your sins to! He says that our sins which are like scarlet will be as white as snow and like a wool! Meaning God has forgiven your sins fully that is why he calls it as snow and wool! It is spotless!

Dear Friends, why I am referring you to the bible verses is because I do not want you to be ignorant not knowing the truth and the promises God made with you! Use the word of God to go against the devil when he accuses you and reminds you of your past sins! The devil knows the truth and he does not want you to be set free. The devil wants you to be under the bondage of sin forever! Yes, friends! Know the truth and the truth will set you free! In the book of Jeremiah 31:34 it is written ” For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” In the book of  Psalm 32:1 it is written “Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him.” Friends, here God is calling the person who sins “Blessed!” Blessed because whose sin the Lord does not count against him. Isn’t he a wonderful God my friends! Let us look at the final verse found in Psalm 103:10 “He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.”

Friends, people will treat us as our sins deserve but not God! People will condemn you and pass judgment on you. They will throw insults on you and keep reminding you of your sins! Remember friends, when you confess your sins in full repentance God will never remember your sins anymore! So do not keep reminding yourselves about your sins. Let us take this season of Lent to ask God to forgive us of our sins. Have a Blessed Lent season.

God Bless.
