Greetings I bring to you my beloved friends in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ Our Redeemer! Dear friends, as we take a look at today’s article, let us ask ourselves in “Whom have we put our trust and hope in Today?” Man or God? Let us take a look at the word of God and what it has to reveal to us,friends!
Dear friends, looking at the article above, many of us today who are believers still have not been able to put our trust and hope in the Lord 100%. We still tend to put our trust in mere human beings no matter what the cost! Even though there are many of us who knows the word of God but we still seek and put our hope and trust in man. Friends, are you stuck in a terrible situation that you can’t get yourself out free! Are you in a situation where you have put your hope and trust in mere human beings who have said that they will help you but at the end they do not help you. Friends, do not get upset and angry with those who say that they will help you but at the end they retreat back! God wants to show You and I my friends not to depend “at all” on mere human beings. God wants you to search and seek Him with all of your heart. God only wants you to put your hope and trust in Him alone and no one else for the matter!
Dear friends, God will help you through people but He wants you to have the hope, trust and faith in Him that your help comes from Him, the maker of Heaven and Earth! Friends, don’t you think that God does not know the struggle that you are going through at this time? God knows “everything” about you my friends! When you sit and when you rise, when you are awake and when you are asleep! Before the eyes of humans everything is hidden and concealed but not at all from the eyes of God! Everything that is hidden in your heart and mind are laid bare before Him! All things are “transparent” before His very eyes! Let me take you to the word of God in the book of Psalms 34. It talks about our hope in God alone and our refuge is also in God alone.
Dear friends, as it is written in Psalm 34:4 “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” Yes, my friends, if you are living in fear today, because of your troubles, relax because God will deliver you from all your fears if you seek Him! As it is written “Those who look at him are radiant;their faces are never covered with shame.” Again my friends, when you seek God your face will be radiant and you will never be put to shame if your trust and hope is in God alone! In Psalm 34:6 as it is written “This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.” Friends, our God is a Living God and not a dead God that He can’t hear or see you. God hears every word that you speak to Him even how silent that words can be, He still hears you no matter where you are around this globe. God hears your cry among the millions! That is God!
Dear friends, Today God wants you to “taste” and see that He is a good God. As the Psalmist says in Psalm 34:8 “Taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.” Yes, my friends! Blessed are you and I if we have taken refuge in the Lord! Taste Him my friends then only you will know how good is the Lord of Host! I can only let you know about His goodness because I have tasted Him and He is indeed a good God! Unless you taste Him and get to know Him you will never know how sweet and good is God. My dear friends, you will lack no good thing when you seek and fear the Lord.( Psalms 34:9 ) In Psalm 34:10 it is written ” The young lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” Friends, you have nothing to lose if you put your hope and trust in God and in God alone! He who created You and I, aren’t we precious in His sight? God says that we are the “apple of His eye!” So my dearly beloved friends, whatever situation you are in today, God cares for you because He loves you so much and He wants to deliver you out of all your troubles,Today! Have a Blessed Lent Season.
