“Friends, What Are Your Need’s Today?”

17 05 2011

Greetings I bring to you my friends in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ Our Redeemer! Dear friends, as I bring you to another posting of mine for the day, let us have a look at the above topic entitled “What are your needs today?” Let us have a look at the word of God and how sensitive is God to our daily needs.

Dear friends, in this world each and everyone of us have our own needs. At times when we do not get what we want, we start to grumble and we may even question God. We may even ask God why the delay? Friends, we must remember that God knows what we want and our needs too. It was God who created us and He is our Creator. At times, people do not have the patience to wait upon the Lord to meet their needs. They even turn away from God and go after other gods that have been made by human hands.

Dear friends, we as believers must understand that God is a God full of patience, and we being the children of God must practice patience. Isn’t that one of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit? Many Christians today are lack of patience. We have turn to become so hasty that we tend to make wrong decisions at times as believers and then we regret. Remember in His time everything is beautiful. God’s timing must be there. Friends, how urgent are your needs today? We may have a lot of needs that involves our family, employment, relationship and many more.

Dear friends, as we take a look at the word of God in the book of the New Testament, Philippians 4:19 as it is written “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” The word of God says ‘all’ and not ‘some’ my friends. At times we limit God’s grace and provision on our lives. Our God, who is rich in mercy and grace is willing to meet all your needs in abundance. Our God is a rich God. Note that the word of God says, “according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” Isn’t that wonderful my friends.

Dearly beloved friends, do you know that whatever you are asking God today in prayer, God knows it. Even before you could ask God knows the content of your heart and the motif you are asking for. Nothing is hidden from God’s eyes. God will meet all your needs according to His will. Yes, friends! Your needs must be according to God’s will and God does not want you to use it in a wrong way. So you have to be very careful on what you ask God in prayer. God will never withhold anything good from His children. He always gives us the best of everything.

Dear friends, have God met your needs today? How thankful are you to Him when your needs are met. What if your needs are not met on time? Are you being angry with God for not meeting your needs? In what motif did you ask God to meet your needs? Was your motif genuine when you ask God to meet whatever needs you wanted God to meet? Remember, God sees the internal and not the external of every child that He created. Friends, there was time when I wanted God to meet all my needs. It did took time for God to meet my needs. God knew what I wanted and he told me to “hold on” for a while. At times God wants to see if we are really patient to wait upon the Lord. Are we still going to come before Him in prayer and petition and continue to ask Him. I did wait upon the Lord and till today my God meets all my needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. All  basic needs are looked after by God after my late husband was called back to  the Lord on the 23rd May, 2009. Till today, my friends, God has not let go off my hand. God provides and meets all my needs and not some of them. He is a wonderful God. God is the Provider of all my needs and He will be yours too Today if you believe that God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in heaven and to his most perfect will. Be persistent in your prayer. Have a Blessed Day.

God Bless.
