“$$$$$ On God’s Word! Thought It Was Free Of Charge?”

18 06 2011

Greetings I bring to you my friends in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Our Savior.  Dear friends, as we take a look at the topic entitled above “$$$$ On God’s Word!” it is such a sad thing to know that an amount or price is being put to bring forth the word of God to the people. Is this what the word of God in the Bible is revealed? Let us move on to see what the word of God has to reveal to us friends? Please read on the rest of the article and be blessed.

Dear friends, it is in fact very saddening to see that in today’s present world of Evangelism there are a majority of Pastors who are using the word of God to make money for themselves. I really wonder when these pastors who want to do God’s work, are they really indeed genuine or not? These so called pastors who have come into doing God’s ministry have other motifs rather then bringing the word of God to the people.  There are many “money minded pastors” who are out there only to deceive the poor hungry souls that are in hunger for the word of God. Those souls who are in hunger for God’s word are being deprived from receiving God’s word. They have to pay if  they want to hear the word of God. By the way, what I am aware of is the word of God is in fact “Free of Charge” to everyone in this planet earth. I am not saying this but the word of God is written in the Bible.

Dear friends as we take a look at the gospel of St Matthew 10:8 as it is written, “Freely you have received, freely give.” This is what is written in the Bible. Those so called pastors, if you do not believe me check it our for yourselves!  We go on to see on the following verse as it is written,”Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts; take no money for your journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff; for the worker is worth his keep.” Yes, my friends! That is what the disciples in Jesus time was commanded to do. Jesus taught his disciples and gave them the word freely and so they are to do the same. It is not so with the present day so called pastors.

Dear friends, today’s present day so called appointed pastors will only come to deliver the word of God if there is a price and I mean this $$$$$ dollar sign price. I have seen meetings being canceled just because they are not being offered the price they ask for. Friends, do we really need these type of money minded pastors to deliver the word of God. In the first place they themselves do not know the word of God. If they really knew the word of God they will never put a price for the word of God. It is suppose to be FREE OF CHARGE! We are suppose to bring the word of God to everyone and servants of God should not demand for a large amount. Ordained Pastors if you are reading my posting it is not meant for you. So please do not get offended. It is really meant for those who are not at all genuine in the eyes of God.

Friends, what really upsets me frankly are these so called and self appointed pastors as they call themselves, they are the ones that are making a mockery out of God’s word. If these so called pastors are really genuine in bringing the word of God then God knows how to reward them. Why look at the hands of men rather than looking at the hands of your PROVIDER ! If these so called pastors do not have the FAITH that their PROVIDER can provide them and meet all their needs, then I wonder what are they really preaching?Friends, there was an article on 21 June 2011 with the title, Nigeria’s pastors ‘as rich as oil barons.’ These Nigeria’s pastors run multi-million dollar businesses which rival that of oil tycoons, a Nigerian blogger who has researched the issue has told the BBC.The joint wealth of five pastors was at least $200m (£121m), he said. The Nigerian blogger said Bishop Oyedepo was followed on the rich list by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Believers’ Loveworld Ministries. He was worth between “$30 and $50m.” “These pastors are flamboyant. You see them with private jets and expensive cars. This extravagance sends out the wrong message to their followers,” he told the BBC’s Network Africa programme. He said the pastors acquired their wealth from various sources, including their congregations. “We have Nigerians who are desperate, looking for solutions to their problems. They go to church for salvation, redemption and healing and pastors sometimes take advantage of them,” Mr Nsehe said. Friends, looking at all these do you not feel angry?

Dearly beloved friends,  How did Jesus our Lord did his ministry? He walked and walked from one village to another village to preach the word of God. Jesus was not at all a billionaire with multimillion assets. Jesus was the son of God who owned the whole universe and yet he had nothing. Jesus did not asked for a price for his message but Jesus paid the price for all mankind and it was absolutely “FREE OF CHARGE” for us All! Friends, that is why the word of God tells us to test the spirits first. Are these so called pastors servants from God or are they vessels from Satan? Friends, today if you are attending service go for God and not for the pastors! If they cannot bring the word of God to those hungry souls out there, they are  certainly not fit at all to be in service in the Lord’s Hand. A word to all servants of God no matter in what denomination you come from, “Freely you have received, Freely you Give.”  Do Stay Blessed and Be Blessed Always.

God Bless.

You are so right and it is a terrible shame what these pastors do. There are many mega-churches in America that are robbing the poor. But then, aren’t many of these sheep just getting what they deserve for following these so-called pastors and their prosperity teachings? They don’t want truth, they want riches. Truth is fallen in the street at this time in history, so we expect every ungodly thing to be going on in so-called churches.

Very true indeed. This is what nowadays church pastors are heading too. Jesus Christ shared and gave the word free to all and also paid the cost for us all free of charge on the cross at Calvary. Have a blessed day and God Bless.
