“Where Does My Help Come From?”

14 07 2011

Greetings I bring to you my dear friends in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Our Redeemer. Dear friends as we take a look at the above topic entitled, “Where Does My Help Come From?” many of us who are believers indeed are still sitting in our “worried zone.” Friends, let us see what the word of God has to reveal to us today concerning the above topic. Please do read on the rest of the article and be blessed my friends.

Dearly beloved friends, as we look at the above topic once more there are still many of us who are out there who are still caught up in our “worried zone.” We do not want to come out of it. We rather sit in our “worried zone” and worry about all the things that is surrounding us. If do not want to “break free” from our “worried zone.” Friends, why there are still some of us still cannot come out of the “worried zone” is because we want to carry all our burdens on ourselves. We are not brave enough to let go off our burdens into the hands of God. In fact God himself tells us to cast all our burdens upon Him because He cares for us. The problem with us is that when we go to church we want to surrender all our burdens to God. But right after the church service ends, we tend to take back our burdens with us. This shows a great deal of lack of Faith that we have in God. We are not brave enough to put our trust in God.

Dear friends, when we have lack of faith in God, we really bring problems and troubles upon ourselves. Have we ever asked or wondered why we can’t trust God to handle all our daily affairs? Are we not trusting in a living God. A God who can see, hear and also feel the pain that we are going through. He is not a dead God but a living God. Friends, we still have hope till this day. Are you in a deep trouble that you think you cannot come out from? Are you planning to do something foolish? STOP! There is always a way out for you from all your burdens and troubles today. You may think that no one cares for you. But there is someone who cares and he really cares for you. It is only that we as believers are so ignorant and afraid to put our trust in God.

Dear friends, today we see God’s assurance to us in the book of Psalms 121. It is such a beautiful Psalm. It talks about our help coming from God and not from man. It shows the love of God for his children. As the word of God is written in Psalms 121 “He will not let your foot slip because of your burdens. He who watches over  you will not slumber, indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” Yes, friends, in our problems some of us do slumber and sleep but not so the Lord. It shows God’s great concern over the problems that we are undergoing that makes God not to even slumber and sleep. As it goes on,  it is written that, “The Lord watches over you all the time.” He has not removed his sight from us even though we have removed our sight from God.”The Lord is your shade at your right hand.” “The Lord will keep you from all harm and not only some of it. This are all God’s assurance to his people.

Dear friends, it is time for us as believers to be true believers. We have to learn to trust God in all our situations. If we as believers are not able to trust in the Lord, how are we going to bring the gospel of Our Lord Jesus to others who do not know our Lord Jesus Christ. Not being able to trust in God shows our lack of faith and confidence in our Living God. Today my friends, cast all your burdens upon the Lord fully and you will see the deliverance of the Lord God Almighty upon your life today. Trust In God, And In God We Trust. We do not have anything to lose. You will only lose everything if you do not put your Trust in God. Have a Blessed Weekend and Stay Blessed Always.

God Bless.
