“Faith, Is All We Ever Need To Move The Heart Of God”

2 08 2011

Greetings I bring to you my friends in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ Our Redeemer. Dear friends, as we go into today’s posting, it talks about having FAITH in God. Friends, in fact this is not really an easy matter to deal with. Many of us would say that we have FAITH in God. But what happens when your FAITH is shaken in situations that you least expect happens to you. Please do read on friends the rest of the article and be blessed.

Dearly beloved, let us first and foremost understand the definition of FAITH in the written word of God. What does the word of God defines FAITH as? As we look at the book of Hebrews in the New Testament chapter 11:1 as it is written, “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Meaning we are to walk by Faith and not by Sight. This is what the written word of God is telling us to do! My friends, do you and I ever think that this is an easy task for us believers out there around the globe? But this was how the servants of God in the Old Testament were recommended to do. There are a few of them under the “Hall of Faith.” For example we see our father Abraham, being instructed by God to live his homeland and go to the place where God wants him to go. In obedience, Abraham left. He did not even question God. Abraham was a man of great Faith and the most beautiful thing in him was his sense of Obedience to God. And because of his obedience he was greatly blessed by God in abundance. Abraham and his wife was childless. Abraham was 100 and Sara was 99 when she bore her son Isaac at that age. Frankly speaking my friends, will we be able to have that kind of a Faith. Sara laughed when she was told that she would conceive a child. That showed Sara did not have faith in the spoken word of God delivered by the messengers of God. But Abraham did. God still tested Abraham about his Faith regarding his love to God.God still wanted to see if Abraham still loved him and if he still was a man of Faith.

Dear friends, God told Abram to sacrifice his only son Isaac to the Lord. Imagine, having a child at such an old age and now God wants Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. Abraham was a friend to God. Abraham did not with hold his son Issac from being sacrificed to the Lord. He took his son and before he journeyed to the mountain, he told his servants as it is written in Genesis 22:5 “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.” That was the spoken word of Faith from the mouth of Abraham. “We will worship and then we will come back to you.” God saw that Abraham loved God more than his son and was willing to sacrifice him unto the Lord and his Faith in God did not ever waiver at all.

Dearly beloved, let me take you to another incident that happened in the New Testament. Its about the woman with the issue of blood flow for 12 years. It is another Faith incident that will empower us as believers to have Faith in the Living God. This woman had been suffering from this blood flow for 12 years. The doctors gave up hope. This woman had heard about Jesus healing the sick and casting out demons. Jesus was with his disciples at the market street. This woman was there too and she did the most amazing thing. With all the Faith that she had, in that crowded place, she touched the edge of the garment of our Lord Jesus and she was healed at that very moment. Jesus, who knew that his healing power had left his body, asked who was the person who touched him? The woman was afraid and came forth and told that it was her. And Jesus reply to her was, “Your Faith has healed you.”  Yes, my dear friends, we are to have that Faith in our Lord. Let no situations or circumstances stop you from having Faith in our God. “Our God Is A Great God.” There is nothing that Our God can’t do for us. Only believe, be obedient and have Faith in the Living God that we are serving. You only need a mustard Seed Faith to move the Heart of God Today!  Be Blessed and Stay Blessed always.”WE WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT!”

God Bless.
