“Discovering God’s Perfect Will In Your Life”

30 10 2011

Greetings I bring to you my friends in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ Our Savior. Dear friends, how many of us today are living under the Perfect will of God? There are many of us as believers today, are still waiting to know God’s will upon our lives, aren’t we? Please do take time to read the rest of the article below to know the will of God in your life so that you and I may not make any hasty and regretful decisions in our life.Do be blessed and stay blessed always.

Dearly beloved friends, there are many of us that would have received this type of message on our mobile phones sent by our family, friends and loved ones as you see it here such as “The Will Of God Will Never Take You Where The Grace Of God Will Not Protect You.” Yes, my friends, we are all living under the Grace of God. But have we ever wondered or even take time to know the will of God in our life and the life of our children? We at times follow our own will and desire and we do the same to our children. We do not at all want to ask God our Father, what is His Will upon our life and the life of our kids. We as believers do say the Lord’s Prayer daily and in the Lord’s prayer itself it is written, “Let your will be done and not my will be done.” But the question here today is whether you and I my friends really do know what is God’s will upon our life today?

Dearly beloved friends, would you like to know God’s will for your life? How to discern will of God for daily situations, or discover his plans for very important decisions of our life, such as marriage and career? Here are some of the simple bible based steps to find God’s will upon your life. It provides practical steps or preparation in discovering God’s will for your life. First and foremost we need to make Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior and to do his will alone. As it is written in Romans 12:1-2, “Therefore I urge you brothers, in view of God’s mercy to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship.Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, his good pleasing and perfect will. In the gospel of Matthew 6:33 as it is written, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteous, and all these things will be given to you as well.” There is no other alternative my friends.

My beloved friends, secondly We should respond as God would in any given situation and be obedient to his will. As it is written in Psalm 25:10, “All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant.” Please note carefully that His ways in our life are “loving and faithful.” So friends we need to be really obedient to God’s will in our life if we do not want our life to be in a total mess.Believe me or not, many believers are living in a messed up life today all because of depending on their own will in making important decisions in their life. Thirdly, we should be humble and willing to learn. As it is written in Psalm 25:9, “He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.” Friends, we have to really humble ourselves before God to know His will upon our life. many of us believers today are so egoistic that we want to make all the decisions in our life and in the life of our children. We want it Our Way and not God’s Way! Even our Lord Jesus Christ humbled himself before God the Father until the point of His death in Calvary. Jesus Christ himself asked His Father to remove the cup of suffering  but then said, “Let thy will be done.” That humble Jesus was to His Father in Heaven. Where do we stand today my friends, in making decisions in our life?

Dearly beloved friends, as we go on the fourth thing to know the will of God in our life is to spend time in his words daily. This is the most simple and powerful, yet most forgotten or ignored fact. Yes, this is really true indeed! We can spend so much time indeed on Facebook and Skype, but when it comes spending time in God’s word we really do not have the time friends! And do you know who is the most happiest person on earth knowing that you are not in touch with God’s word? Of course it is our greatest enemy the devil! Six days you will not be reading the word of God and on the 7th day when you come to attend church service that is the time you want to read the word of God. That is really sad  and disturbing isn’t it? Remember friends, “Seven days without the Word Of God in our Life makes One WEAK and not one WEEK!” And in our weaknesses there is where we make all the wrong decisions in our life. To know God’s will we have to be in tact with His Word daily friends. That is how important it is. I have personally learned it from my own mistakes! Any way no one is Perfect right? But God is still good all the time my friends.

Dear friends, as we go on to the fifth, We should listen to God in prayer. As it is written in Proverbs 8:34, “Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.” Yes, my friends, how many of us today are waiting and listening to God? Note, it is said that you are “BLESSED” if you listen and wait for the Lord daily in prayer. Many of us just make major important decisions just like that, not even bringing them to the Lord’s feet in prayer! That is our major problem. One thing I like to state here is, if we take a look at our Muslim brothers and sisters they always use this word “Insyhallah” meaning “God Willing.” Tell them something and they will respond back to you with this word. Friends, it is high time that we believers learn to put our trust in God so that we will know his perfect will upon our lives. At times we believers take God for granted in all situations that we make in our life. When we make a mistale we blame it on God why did he allow such things to come upon us. Friends, whatever we are going through today, “We have brought it upon ourselves!”

Dearly beloved friends, in conclusion the word of God clearly states that we need to depend and trust God fully in any decisions that we make. Let God’s will be done upon our life. Let his ways be in our life and not our own worldly ways that will bring much pain and suffering. As it is written in the book of the Prophet Isaiah, “My ways are not your ways neither are my thoughts your thoughts.” Friends, we need to know and understand God’s perfect will in our life and the life of our children. There is an old poem which I always remember, “Devil trembles when he sees,God’s weakest child upon his knees!’ Wow! Is it not great to know that we can make the devil tremble in fear when we the child of God is at his or her weakest point of time on their knees?  Friends, we are God’s children. Whatever decision that you want to make today, bring it to the Lord in Prayer first and you will know if His will is upon that decision you are going to make. It maybe a life decision or a major decision you have to make. So why don’t you rely on God rather then yourself? God knows all the plans he has already for you and I. Just let us all fit into God’s perfect will and plan for us all.Have a truly Blessed week ahead.

God Bless.

Human Will and God’s Will

Before the fall of Adam sinless man was able to sin. For God said, “In the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:17).

As soon as Adam fell, sinful man was not able not to sin, since we were unbelieving, and “whatever is not from faith is sin” (Romans 14:23).

When we are born again, by the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to not sin, for “sin will have no dominion over you” (Romans 6:14).

Let each one of us should examine who he is and to know how God’s will for us which is always good towards us in doing purposed promised good to us Jer 29: 11;32: 41-42.God fulfilling his will in us and we happily submit ourselves in doing his will happily. Phil 2:13.
