“Be Grateful That You Have Your Ears To Hear And Tongue To Speak!”

11 02 2012

Shalom and greetings I bring to you me beloved friends in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ Our Savior, Redeemer and our Deliverer. My prayer for you today is that you my beloved ones will ever be grateful to God for keeping you in perfect health. Be thankful at all times and Rejoice everyday because you are under the protection of the Blood of Jesus Christ that shields you from all sickness and diseases. Continue to read the rest of the article and have a Blessed weekend with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dearly beloved friends, how many of us today have been so thankful to God for all the things that he has done for us even up to forsaking His only Son Jesus Christ for our sake.  God first loved us before we could ever love Him. Look around you today my friends and you can see why you need to be so thankful to God but yet we still complain of not having this and that. We tend to complain over so many things. Let me take you to the book in the New Testament of the Gospel of St Mark chapter 7:31-37.  It speaks about Jesus healing the deaf man who had an impediment in his speech. The people brought him to Jesus to be healed and Jesus did heal this man. He could hear and speak after Jesus had healed him.  Before getting healed, this man could not hear a thing or even speak. Meaning he could not totally hear any noise at all. Just imagine friends, leaving in a world where everyone else can hear the noise that is in this world  but when you cannot hear a thing how terrible it will be! You will be in your own world.

Dearly beloved friends, how grateful have you and I been to God that we are able to hear and to speak? But too often we really take things for granted. We really do not value what we have. We use our ears and tongue that God has given us for the wrong purpose. We hear the wrong things of this world. We who are blessed with hearing and speech need to use our faculties well-our tongues to speak words of appreciation, praise and encouragement instead of criticism and gossip  and our ears to listen to the goodness of God’s word rather than slander and character assassination.  We hear the wrong kind of musics than to hear the songs that worship God. We are more inclined to the physical world than the spiritual one. We use our tongue to wrongly accuse and judge people and we bring false testimony to those who are not guilty. There are many of us out there who are believers with this kind of an attitude.

Dearly beloved friends, what God has given us let us use it wisely for the kingdom of God. We are to use it to bring glorification to God rather than upon ourselves. We are to bring the word of God to others by using our tongues. It is one way that we can proclaim the word of God to others.Make full use of our body for God. Remember that we are the Temple of God. Go out and proclaim unto others the goodness that God has done for you. Tell them about the Salvation plan that God has for them. Tell them that God is their ultimate healer and to put their trust and Hope only in Jesus Christ who can deliver them out of their Crisis. Tell them that through Jesus the deaf can hear and the mute can speak. The blind can see and the lame can walk. If we are  not going to bring these words to those who do not know Jesus then who is going to do it my beloved friends? Today do what God wants you to do! God has created you without any defect, use it to glorify God in any way you can. Go on blessing others daily and you yourself will be blessed and refreshed!

God Bless
