Continue to read the rest of the article and stay Blessed always.Dearly beloved friends in Christ Jesus. Greetings once again to all of you my beloveds around the globe. We are in the 5th day of the Season of Lent. Many of us would have decided to give up so many things during this Season of Lent. In the time of Jesus Christ, Christ our Lord was drawn into the desert for 40 days and 40 nights. It was never an easy experience. Even as we go through this Lent too, you and I would also be drawn into the desert as how Our Lord Jesus was drawn too. There our Lord was tempted by the Satan. You and I too my friends will go through the same thing. We will be tested during this time of Season of Lent too. How are we as believers going to handle situations that will lead us into various temptations?

Beloved friends, there are various kinds of temptations that will come our way in some forms. It is at this time we will be tested in many ways. We would have want to give up so many things during this Lent season. But be aware that the devil will be like a roaring lion waiting to prowl on its victim it its weakest moment. Just imagine Jesus our Lord who was on a forty day fast. He must have been very weak at this time. But how did Our Lord overcome such situations. He was always with His Father in Heaven. He was connected with His Father at all times. Jesus Christ knew the written word of God very well. Jesus Christ was tempted by the Satan three times, and in that three times of being tempted, Jesus rebuked Satan using the written word of God.

Dearly beloved friends, in times of trials and temptations in our life, how well do we know the written word of God to use it against the evil one? Remember that Satan also knows the written word of God very well. Are we connected with the written word of God 24/7 or is it only on Sundays? If it is only on Sundays then sad to say we will lose the battle with Satan and fall into temptation. So to safe guard ourselves against being tempted by Satan, we really need to equipped ourselves very well with the written word of God which is also known as the double edged sword of the Spirit. Only then you and I can stand against Satan and his cohorts.

So my dearly beloved friends, how well equipped are we today? Remember that it is at this time when we are weak, Satan will try to come and test us with so many things to see if we can stand against him or not? Jesus did and so we as his children and disciples ought to always stand prepared at all times that we do not fall into temptations in this life. The word TEMPTATION itself will try to draw you to fall into the trap of Satan. And the best time for Satan to attack you is in the Season of Lent. Because this is the time most of us would want to give up certain things during this season. So always be on your guard. Satan is always waiting to trap you and I in any way he can. If our Lord Jesus could rebuke Satan using the word of God, likewise we too are to use it against Satan. So stay well connected with the written word of God 24/7 daily. May God grant you the grace to go through this Season of Lent and have a Meaningful and a Blessed Season of Lent 2012.

God Bless
