“What Are We Really Like When Nobody’s Watching But God Is Always Watching Over Us?”

9 03 2012

Shalom and greeting I bring to you my beloved friends around the globe in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Our Perfect Savior, Redeemer and Deliverer. My prayer for you today my friends are that we should really know whose approval do we need. Do we need God’s approval or man’s approval? Do take time to read the rest of the article and Be blessed and Stay Blessed at all times. Have a truly Christ centered day.Dearly beloved friends, greetings again in the name of our Lord Jesus. Looking at the above topic, have we ever considered giving a thought to that topic above? What are we really like when nobody is watching us? We do think that Nobody is watching us but there is Someone who is really keeping watch over us 24/7 daily!  Aha! We are really not who we think we are at times. We all want to put on a Mask and show people that this is what we are! Behind ever Mask there is a Truth about who we really are. Being believers and children of God, it is really sad to say that the majority of us would rather put up a show to have man’s approval than to have God’s approval upon us. The written word of God found in the Lords Prayer clearly states that “Let your will be done God!” meaning we need to have the will of God and the approval of God only in our life and not man’s approval upon us!

Dearly beloved friends, more important, what are we really like when nobody’s watching? In the gospel of Matthew 23;2-7 as it is written, “Jesus rebuked those who were interested in how they looked in the public rather than how they were seen by God.” God wants us to be obedient, faithful and committed to Him, even when nobody sees. The Pharisees focused on the way they were perceived by other people. Are we like the Pharisees of today? Do we want to be seen as who we are in the eyes of God? God’s focus is on what we are like inside. It is the Inside Out Concept that is more important to God. What is within us that is important to God! That is why we should have the right attitude of heart before God. God’s desire for us is to be like His Son Jesus Christ! We are to portray ourselves in every way we can to be like Jesus in our daily walk of life. Living for God’s approval is better than living for man’s applause!

So my dearly beloved friends, as believers in Christ let us achieve to live as children of the Light and not children of the dark.If we say that Jesus is the Light than how can we believers live in the dark? When we do things in the dark we think that nobody is watching us but God’s eyes is always fixed on each one of us. None can hide from God for all things are transparent  before God’s very eyes! The Psalmist says in Psalm 33:13  as it is written, “From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from His dwelling place he watches all who live on earth!” In Psalm 53:2 as it is written, “God looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God!’

Dear friends, let us take this time to be what God wants us to be. Let us do things that will get the approval of God rather than man. We are to please God and not please men. Even when we are working do things that will be pleasing to God rather than be pleasing to men. If we can all have this right attitude of heart, we will all never live in a corrupted life and the world will in fact be free from the pollution of Corruption!Let us all strive to live as children of the living God.Have a truly Blessed and meaningful Season of Lent 2012.

God Bless
