“Life Is A Battle And Also A Blessing To Those Who Endure It!”

16 03 2012

Shalom and greetings I bring to you my beloved friends around the globe in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ our Perfect Savior, Redeemer and Deliverer. My prayer for you is that in all your trials that you are undergoing right now, know that God is always with you. God has never ever abandoned you at any one time. In fact in your weaknesses God has made you into a strong tower. Read on the rest of the article and be Blessed at all times. Dearly beloved friends, at times we sit and think that it is only we who are going through a lot of problems in this life. If you and i just take the time to ask any of our friends they will also tell you that they too are undergoing problems and trials in this life. Each one of us in fact are undergoing this situation. Thank God for the trials that comes into your life. You and I will learn a lot from it and how to depend on God’s strength to overcome these trials that we are undergoing at the moment.

Dearly beloved friends, the challenges and crises of life can tax us to the very end of our strength, and in such times it is easy to want to give up. But the book of  James, offers the disciples of Christ Jesus another perspective. He says that while life is a battle, it is also a blessing. “Indeed we count them blessed who endure.” You and I would have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord, that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.” (James 5:11)

Dearly beloved friends, no one has suffered as much as Job.Being in Job’s position many of us would have given up in life. In fact we would have just cursed god and die. But Job did not do it. He went through the trials in his life and yet he did not give up on God. Job was at the worst situation anyone could have imagined of, yet he endured it all with perseverance. In Job’s example, we find encouragement and the power to persevere in life’s darkest hours, power rooted in God who is compassionate and merciful.

Dear friends, being believers what is life without trials? Without trials in our life how are we going to give a testimony of how God delivered us from the situation and circumstances that we are in? We care to be God’s witnesses in all situations, the good ones and the bad ones too. Trials and problems shapes us to be a better follower of Jesus Christ. In times of our weaknesses we are made strong in the Lord. We become more wiser in making decisions. We learn from our mistakes not to depend on our strength but on God. As the written word of God says the, “Joy of the Lord is our Strength.” How wonderful is it to know that in our weaknesses too we still have the Joy in God.b In everything God is Good all the time, and all the time God is ever so good.

So my dearly beloved friends, stop murmuring  and grumbling against God for the situation that you are in today. Life is indeed not a bed of roses! We all go through a rough period in a certain time along our journey. Journeys are not always smooth, right? At times the road that we are traveling in can be smooth and at times it can be really rough. We as believers must be able to take both journeys, the rough ones and the smooth ones. At times when the journey is rough, that is when we will try to look into the word of God and call upon Him. And God is so good that He is there to answer you and give you strength to endure the journey that you are on. And most of the time in our trials and rough journeys, God carries us through it. Praise God for that!

Dear friends, before I end my article God knows very well the situation you are in today. Do not lean on your own understanding and in your own strength. Surrender yourself to God and see the deliverance in your Life today. The choice is still yours to decide. Have a truly Blessed and Meaningful Season of Lent 2012.

God Bless
