“When We Don’t Know What To Say, Just Pray!” That Is Good Enough

19 03 2012

Shalom and greetings I bring to you my beloved friends in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ our Perfect Savior, Redeemer and Deliverer. My prayer for you my beloved ones is that at this time of the moment in whatever situation you are in today, the Peace of God will reign in your hearts. There are many of us who are grieving silently, but be assured that God sees your tears and he will wipe them away. Draw nearer to God and cast all your burdens upon Him, whatever they may be. Continue to read the rest of the article and Be Blessed at all times.Dearly beloved friends, looking at the topic above, at times in situations and circumstances we really do not know what to say! Do you think it is easy to say something to a person who has just lost their loved ones? To a person who knows that she or he is dying of cancer? To a mother who has lost her child to a rapist or a molester? To those who are having children born deformed or handicap? What do you and I think can we say to these people who are in such situations?  At times it is better that we say nothing at all at that moment but only to keep them in prayer.

Dear friends, many of us would have attended funerals of of loved ones, family and friends too. I have indeed attended many funerals and all I ever do is to cry with them. There is nothing that we could say at that point of time that will console them. But there are still people who will try to open their mouth to say something that does not bring consolation. It is better for us to cry with them rather than opening our mouth to say something to them that does not bring healing to them. it is alright to cry. Jesus Christ too wept with Mary and Martha when their brother Lazarus died. As believers it is always better for us to Pray for others rather than lecturing  to them.

Dearly beloved friends, there are many of our brothers and sisters out there around this globe who are weeping and grieving over so many things that have hit them and their families. Some are in situations that they cannot come out of. Do not lecture to someone who has back slide in his or her faith. Do not lecture to someone who you know has been hurt. Do not lecture to someone who is going to die. Do not lecture to someone who has just lost their loved ones. Be wise not to say anything but in Everything put it in Prayer because when you pray God will answer that prayer and bring Healing and comfort to that said person. JUST PRAY! That is really good enough. Everyone needs prayer. Even today I would rather love people praying for me. So friends, let us all pray for one another. I bet you that there are many out there today who needs your prayer. Let us all stand in the gap and pray for those who really need our prayers rather than our lectures. Have a Blessed and a Meaningful Season of Lent 2012.

God Bless
