Shalom and greetings I bring to you my beloved friends around the globe in the Mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ our Perfect Savior, Redeemer and Deliverer. My prayer for you my friends is that each one of you grow more in Love through the Agape Love of God. When we truly have this Agape love within us we will not want to betray someone who trustfully lives with us. Continue to read the rest of the article and be Blessed at all times.Dearly beloved friends, greetings again I bring to you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. As we take a look at the word “Betrayed” I believe many of us in one way or another have been betrayed by those we love and have trusted them fully. Betrayal can take form in many ways. Some are betrayed in a business transaction, some being betrayed by their close friends , some being betrayed in marital relationships and also in relationships with those we love. Our best friends have greater possibilities to destroy us because before the strength of love we become vulnerable.A friend comes to know of our strengths and weaknesses, and the strengths can be exploited and the weaknesses can be manipulated. We trust our friends and this trust runs the risk of being betrayed. Being betrayed by those who you fully have trusted in all things brings great pain within us. Because they are the ones you never ever expect to betray you or back stab you when their heart is set on greed and power. Let us take a look of a brief account of someone that was “Betrayed by a Kiss” of a close friend who was paid to do so!

Dearly beloved friends, many of us know that Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot who was paid by the those who wanted to capture Jesus Christ for only 30 pieces of silver. What made Judas to betray Jesus His Lord? Judas was loved by Jesus and he was one of the 12 core disciples that was moving around with Jesus Christ. In fact Judas was kept in charge of looking after the money. Jesus Christ loved Judas and thus made himself vulnerable to being exploited and betrayed. Judas, instead of reciprocating this sincere love, took advantage of this “vulnerability” to betray Jesus. Jesus Christ knew very well that he was going to be betrayed by Judas. On the feast of the Unleavened Bread, Jesus made a statement to those disciples who sat down to celebrate that feast that “One of you are about to betray me!” This statement brought great distress upon the disciples and they started asking Jesus, if it was any of them! Jesus answered them by saying, “Someone who has dipped his hand into the dish with me will betray me!” And at that very right time, Judas dipped his hand into the dish! Satan was already working in Judas. His mission was to handover Jesus Christ to the those who were seeking and finding ways to get him caught. Judas told the soldiers that “the man that he kisses is the one that they are looking for!” And thus Jesus was betrayed by a Kiss by his own disciple Judas Iscariot.

Dearly beloved friends, are we too same like Judas? Are we too going to betray Jesus Christ by not acknowledging him as our Savior, the true Messiah, our Deliverer and our Redeemer?  How Satan has worked in the mind of Judas, he still goes around finding for people who are weak in their Faith to betray Jesus by not believing in Him. Many believers have fallen from their Faith because of the lie of the devil. They have become so corrupted and they will go all out to do illegal dealings and activities to sustain themselves. They have forgotten that they are children bought by the blood of Jesus Christ! Today, let us ponder on the above topic! Are we too going to betray or deny our Lord Jesus Christ in any way or in any crisis that comes upon us today? Will you trade Jesus Christ for other unknown gods? Have a Blessed and a Meaningful Season of Lent 2012.

God Bless
