Jehovah Jireh,God Our Provider

2 10 2012

Shabbat Shalom and greetings I bring to you my beloved friends around the globe in the mighty and resurrected name of our Lord Jesus Christ our perfect Savior, Redeemer and Deliverer. My prayer for you my beloved ones today is that as you trust and believe, God will become your daily provider. Do take time to read the rest of the article and be blessed at all times. Dearly beloved ones, how often do we struggle within ourselves with prayer. Many of us in fact have got tired of praying and we tend to lose hope in God. We tend to look at our situations and circumstances rather than looking in faith to God. This is the part that many Christians tend to overlook. We are so busy looking at the storms in our life that we totally forgot that God is in control of every situation in our lives.

Do you believe and have faith that God works miracles in our life, if only we could believe that he would? For miracles to happen we need to have faith. And faith is something that we believe that we have already received and we start to thank God for it. Faith is that we do not walk by sight but by faith. Walk with faith in your heart and you will never walk alone. For with faith in your heart the world is yours to own. You never will grief if in Him you believe, so walk with faith in your heart at all times and in all situations and circumstances.

The most beautiful example of faith is found in the book of Genesis chapter 22 where Abraham was tested by God. Abraham was instructed by God to sacrifice Isaac as a burnt offering unto God. Here Abraham is tested by God to see if Abraham loved Isaac more than God.  Abraham followed God’s instruction and took Isaac to be sacrificed with two of his servants following him. Here we see how the faith in Abraham towards God was.

Beloved friends, the word of faith that came out from the mouth of Abraham could be seen in verse 5 where it was written, “He said to his servants, Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.” OMG! That was a great impact of faith. Abraham uttered the word of faith that he and his son will go and worship and come back where else God had already told to Abraham that Isaac was the sacrificial lamb!

Beloved friends, the second word of faith from Abraham to his son Isaac was when Isaac asked his father Abraham where is the lamb for the burnt offering? (22:7) And Abraham by faith told Isaac that “God himself will provide the Lamb for the burnt offering.”And yes indeed, God did provide a ram for the burnt offering. God wanted to see how much Abraham loved  God. It was there that Abraham called the place The Lord Will Provide and that is how God was named Jehovah Jireh. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”

Beloved friends, till today each one of us will go through what Abraham went through but maybe in a different way. Today many of us believers are undergoing a lot of problems and being pressured down. Do you not think that God knows what you are undergoing at this moment? Nothing is hidden from God. Our God is the God of Abraham, God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. He is the same God yesterday, today and forever. In all these situations how is your faith in God? Do you believe that God can do what he did for Abraham?

Beloved friends, all we ever need to have to move the heart of God is faith as small as a mustard seed. That is all that is needed. You do not need to have faith as big as a mountain to move the heart of God to intervene into your life. When we have such big faith we make God to look small but when you have faith as small as a mustard seed you make God to look so big.

Today my friends, God will want to come into your lives to deliver you out of your troubles. God delivered me out of my troubles and God will do it for you too. All you ever need is faith and to believe that God will do a miracle in your life and He will be your provider to meet all your needs. The choice is still in your hands to believe. God has given us a freewill to choose. Have a blessed day and stay blessed at all times.

God Bless
