God and Children 1Shalom and greetings I bring to you my beloved ones around the globe, in the mighty and resurrected name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, our perfect Savior, Redeemer and Deliverer. My prayer for you is that God will be with you in all your situations that you are currently in. Do not fear or be afraid because God is there and he will never leave you nor abandon you when you believe and have trust and faith in your Creator. Do take time to read the rest of the article and stay blessed. God Bless.

Greetings again in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Today, as we look at the above title, “What Legacy are we leaving behind!” for our children and generation to come?  Are we accumulating wealth, assets, gold and silver to leave back for them? We work so hard towards these things to leave them back for our children! It is not wrong at all to do these things. But are we focusing more on the worldly things but forgetting on the most important part of the child’s spiritual being?

What is more important, the child’s physical or spiritual being? The book of Ecclesiastes clearly states that “Life not centered on God is purposeless and meaningless. Without him, nothing else can satisfy(2.25). With him, all of life and his other good gifts are to be gratefully received and used and enjoyed to the full(2:26; 11:8). The book contains the philosophical and theological reflections of an old man, most of whose life was meaningless because he had not himself relied on God. In Ecclesiastes 12:8 it is written,”Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Everything is meaningless!”

God gives us children for a time. To train them in His way.To love them and teach them how to follow and obey. If we take a look at the book of Deuteronomy 6:4-8 as it is written, “Hear, O Israel:The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.”

Dearly beloved ones, it is the desire of every parents to give the best for their kids and it is not at all wrong with that. A gentle and loving reminder from me as your sister in Christ Jesus! Above all, have the desire to bring up a child in a godly way with all the godly values instilled within them. If we are not going to teach our kids about who God is and His commandments, remember that someone else out there will teach them everything that He isn’t! The richest legacy a parent can leave a child is a godly example where no one can take it from them. Give a thought on this my beloved ones. Keeping you in my prayers. Stay blessed and may the fellowship of the Holy Spirit and the peace of God reign in your homes.

God Bless.
